Hi lovely people!

Thank you all for your patience, I really needed that break! I hope you are all well and enjoying some lovely sunshine right now. I have been loving the weather, it is just right for me, especially on my lovely walks along the brook with Buzz. I don’t know if it’s the same where you are but it is not supposed to be as nice over the Bank Holiday weekend here, so I am making the most of it while I can!

As some of you know, I am in the middle of a complete overhaul of my garden right now and this weekend, my husband will be putting the new decking and some big planters in so that’s our plans! What have you all got planned? Something good I hope. Maybe by next Bank Holiday Monday I will actually be able to use and enjoy my garden again!

Other than that, I have been doing lots of reading, and SO much writing in my journals (I just have so much to say right now I suppose). Actually, I wonder if it’s because I haven’t been chatting with you all so much recently-maybe it is!

I have a wonderful book recommendation for you this week. “Great Diaries: The world’s most remarkable diaries, journals, notebooks and letters”. I am thoroughly enjoying it and it is actually a perfect companion, in my opinion, to another of my favourites, “The Notebook: A History of Writing on Paper” by Roland Allen. I think if you are a visual person, you would perhaps prefer the former, but both have wonderful images.

In complete contrast, I have also been down a rabbit hole of interesting, if disturbing, documentaries on Netflix.

It all began with the new Oklahoma City Bombing documentary, which led me on to the WACO documentary. I had no idea there was more than one culprit in the Oklahoma City Bombing and that so many children died. So, so sad. I also had no idea about the influence that WACO had on Timothy McVeigh and his co-conspirators, so it was fascinating to learn more about that. Then, of course, the “Turning Point: The Vietnam War” was released on Wednesday, so I dove into watching that, which was both horrifying and enlightening.

I would love to know what you are all watching, reading or listening to. Apart from my usual true crime podcasts, I haven’t been listening to much this week.

Here is my latest upload on YouTube, in case you haven’t seen it yet. It is a reset of my Hobonichi Weeks and a May setup and goals video. I hope you enjoy it:

Lastly, I have been on a bit of a spending spree recently so stay tuned for some unboxings and new product reviews coming soon. I haven’t really purchased much in the last month because I just couldn’t decide on what I wanted, but all of a sudden I got the urge to buy some stationery so I did!

Have a wonderful week,

Love, Stacy x
